BISS/DC Sunquest Double O Buck
June 30, 1994 - September 22, 2005
Buck was our first home-bred Dual Champion and he gave us many memories. He won the ABC Chukar Classic in 2000 and was Best of Breed over 98 dogs at the San Diego Specialty Show in 2002. He received a Judge's Award of Merit at the 1999 National Specialty Show after winning a tough Field Trial Dog Class. He was awarded Best in Dual Champion Sweepstakes at the 2000 National Specialty Show. With his spectacular movement, reach and drive, he was always eye-catching. Buck was completely owner/amateur handled in the show ring and he qualified for either the National All Age or National Gun Dog Championship competition every year from 1998 to 2002. |

DC Cimmaron's Sierra Sunshine
August 17, 1989 - June 20, 2005
Sunny was pretty much the start of it all. She was a group-placing, All-Age Dual Champion and our foundation bitch. She was the daughter of FC Rimarda's Rebel Jac who also sired the 1997 National Champion, FC Hammerin' Hank. Her littermate, DC Ojibwa's Rebel of Cimmaron, was runner-up to the National Amateur Champion in 1992. She produced two Dual Champions for us and both were All Age dogs with hour stake wins and placements. . Sunny lived to the ripe old age of 15 years, 10 months and 3 days. |

Sunquest Nina Sierra, JH
June 30, 1994 - October 5, 2006
Nina was a littermate to DC Sunquest Double O Buck and just may have been the sweetest Brittany ever to live on this planet. She earned Puppy and Derby points in the field and several show points before we pulled her from competitions and spayed her when we learned that her hips would not certify. However, she had many opportunities to do some "fun hunting" and was a marvelous pet. She will be missed by all who knew her. |

BISS/Ch/Intl. Ch. Sno-Kris Hi-Point for Sunquest, SH
June 30, 1994 - April 11, 2008
Petey was a littermate to both Buck & Nina and always held a special place in my heart. He earned an International Championship under IABCA rules in 2004 while competing as a Veteran. He won the Sporting Group at Show #3 against competition of all ages and was named Best Veteran in Show at two of the three shows. He was the oldest Veteran entered in each of these shows, but he did not slow down for a moment. All judges agreed his movement was strong, fluid, and a good example of the reach and drive so important in the Brittany standard.
Pete was named Best of Breed from the Veteran's Class at the 2001 Sahuaro Brittany Club Specialty Show. He also won Best of Breed from the Veteran's Class the following day at the Canada Del Oro all breed show in Tucson, AZ. He was handled both days by his good buddy, Margaret Saucerman.
As a class dog working towards his Championship, Pete finished easily in a single show season and was owner/amateur handled to all of his wins.

DC Sunquest's Skooter Pie
January 13, 1997 - August 5, 2011

Skooter was Runner-Up Champion in the 2002 ABC Chukar Classic* held April 13-14, 2002 in Fernley, Nevada *According to the American Brittany Club Policy Manual, "Classics are trials of national stature and prestige, ranking just below the American Brittany Club's Open and Amateur Championships."
She finished her Dual Championship June 9, 2002 by going Best of Breed
from the Open Bitch Class over five male specials!
Skooter came back to us after her owner, an avid hunter who loved her dearly, discovered he was severely allergic to her. Although it was a sad parting for her and her former owner, we were quite happy to take her back for she showed a tremendous amount of potential and was cute as a button to boot! She ran like the wind and was happy as can be. Skooter never had a bad day.
